Question by KaiSeeNicOle: If your employer does not provide you with health insurance can they fire you for not having a dr’s note?
my employer fires people if they dont bring a doctors not after taking a sick day. i was just wondering if she could do that since she doesnt provide health insurance?

It depends on company policy. Currently, employers are not required to offer health insurance. Its an entitlement or lure a lot of companies have to bring in better workers.

So, just because your company does not offer health insurance does not mean you boss cannot fire people who don’t bring in doctor’s notes. So, the answer to your question is YES.

There are a lot of free clinics out there that can give you a quick check up and a doctor’s note.
