there was a fire late fri night and i had alot of my belongings in that motel I had been there for months
I lost my cloths dved player and a lot of tools and etc. I need to know what to do Is the motel insurance gonna pay for this or am i just sol

You need to find out what insurance company (if any) that the motel had coverage with, and talk to them about filing a claim.

Question by helpme: son caused dorm fire, roommates insurance co wants cash?
My 22 year old son accidentally started a college dorm fire. My homeowners has 5k deductible. Son’s roommate has 2.5k claim, 500 deductible. Roommates insurance company sent me letter asking for name of my insurance company and/or cash.
So far I ignored them – not certified mail. My son is an adult and has negative money.
What can they do to me? To my son? Can I just ignore them and wear them down?
