Also would it be worth it to get “Renter’s Insurance”? What are the pros & cons?
I heard that one of those companies, if you get into a car accident, are more concerned with getting paid than arguing your case.

They’re all pretty much the same. Call all of them and get a quote. Go with the lowest quote.
I’d take the renter’s insurance if you can afford it. Ask for quotes with and without the renter’s coverage.
