Question by : Will a flood insurance claim increase my premium?
We got water with Hurricane Irene. Will filing a claim make my premium increase? I was told that flood insurance is federal and therefore my premium will not increase. The only way it will increase is if the government decides to raise the price for everyone. Can someone confirm this for me? Thanks!
